Seedsman's OG Kush has a slight indica-dominance and genetics that include Chemdawg x (Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush). OG Kush is the genetic backbone of many West Coast strains of the last three decades - Girl Scout Cookies, Headband, Larry OG, Purple Kush, Cookies Kush, Pineapple Kush, Tahoe OG, Fire OG, Gelato #41 and many more. OG Kush has a very special reputation. Despite being tricky to grow due to being sensitive to changes in light and nutrient levels and also being susceptible to pests, it can grow very well indoors but needs dry conditions outdoors. A tall strain, OG Kush benefits from the grower with some previous experience growing cannabis plants. Indoor plants take 8 - 10 weeks to finish flowering with potential yields being high. Humidity control is strongly recommended. Outdoors, or in a greenhouse, it grows well in both warm and hot climates, as long as humidity is on the low side, with northern hemisphere harvests ready in October. The buds are green with long orange hairs and glistening trichomes. The three most prevalent terpenes are beta-myrcene, beta-caryophyllene and limonene, these provide OG Kush with an earthy, pine, fuel and citrus scent and flavour. THC content was measured at 23% with CBD less than 1%. The effect is happy, hungry, relaxing and, ultimately, sleepy. OG Kush is said to have therapeutic benefits such as appetite stimulation, anxiety and stress-relief.
