Landrace Warden's Kalat is an heirloom landrace strain originating in the arid, mountainous region of Balochistan, Pakistan. Its natural environment is cold, high altitude desert although Kalat grows well in subtropical highland as well as temperate regions. It is an easy to grow strain with good resistance and a high tolerance to drought. Kalat plants are indicas of seeds_plant_height=seeds_plant_height=seeds_plant_height=Tall size, mostly green but with some purple variants, with both narrow and broad leaf phenos. Plants are between 150 - 180 cm. in height and feature a canopy of multiple colas with high amounts of resin. Side-branch development is good to very good with the internodal distance seeds_plant_height=seeds_plant_height=Tall resulting in nice chunky colas. Evolving in such an arid region, Kalat is a strain that can survive harsh conditions with little water and nutrient, growing deep roots in search of moisture and food. Each plant yields 300 - 750 gr. Flowering lasts for 9 - 11 weeks with harvests in northern latitudes ready during October and November. Kalat has a complex scent, meaty, sulphorous and phenolic like burnt rubber. Its taste is creamy with a rich, high-roast coffee bean quality. Its effect is long-lasting, balanced and very happy and social.
