Cashew Kush is a 50 / 50 indica / sativa hybrid strain that was created by crossing two US strains, Do-Si-Dos and Mendo Breath, before again crossing the result with a Kush strain. Cashew Kush is easy to cultivate and adaptable to various horticultural techniques and an assortment of grow media. Cashew Kush combines the strong structure of indica plants with the longer inter-nodal spacing and light green buds of typical sativas. Plants are likely to stretch a bit once flowering is initiated, although indoor plants remain easy to control at 100 - 150 cm. seeds_plant_height=seeds_plant_height=Tall. Grown outdoors, plants can grow seeds_plant_height=seeds_plant_height=Taller than 150 cm. This strain's genetic make-up allows for better air circulation and light penetration than with more indica-dominant strains. Indoors, flowering takes between 55 - 75 days, depending on phenotype and conditions. Yields are in the region of 400 - 450 gr/m2. Plants grown outdoors can produce over 500 gr/plant in good conditions. Buds produce a lot of very sticky resin, something that will make its presence felt at trimming time. At maturity, the larger leaves are dark green, contrasting with the light green buds. Outdoor cultivation is best in warm, sunny climates like the Mediterranean. Indoors this strain adapts well to SoG, SCRoG, supercropping and lollipopping. The scent is light during vegetative growth, becoming stronger in flowering but not as noticeable as in some strains. At maturity, the scent is sweet with citrus and pine notes. The flavour is earth Kush with some pine and citrus notes and a nutty, creamy finish. The effect is stimulating and cerebral at first before evolving into a long-lasting body stone.
