Buddha Critical is another classic strain that has proven its popularity since the 1990s. Bred by crossing Skunk and Afghani varieties, it is mostly indica and is known for its great yields, fast flowering times and tolerance of less than ideal climates outdoors. Buddha Critical responds well to all kinds of cultivation techiniques and grow media. It's a great strain for growers with little or no previous experience as well. Indoors, plants take just 50 - 55 days of flowering before it's ready to harvest. Yields are very good at 500 - 650 gr/m2. Outdoors, harvest time is the last 2 weeks of September in northern latitudes and the second half of March in the southern hemisphere. Outdoor crops produce some excellent yields with each plant capable of 600 - 2000 gr. Flavours are Skunk-like with floral and sweet, fruity/melon notes. The efect is a fast-acting cerebral high that evolves into a more relaxed state, good for stress-relief. Those who allow crops to mature a bit longer will find more sedative/narcotic effects that will help with insomnia.
